Total restoration and renovation of old Wetherby police station. Major structural alterations including demolition of old cells, replace existing roof and construct various new build extensions. Install electric, joinery and plumbing services to architects specification. Manufacture and install oak doors and windows, repair and restore original oak roof trusses, fit new oak flooring and install oak staircase. Manufacture and install bespoke kitchen and bedroom furniture to client specification. Install electric gates and landscape external communal area.
During this complex and interesting restoration project Redhouse construction worked closely with our client and their nominated architect, we sympathetically restored this building retaining many original period features. We also liaised with local archeologists who were employed by Wetherby council to record and preserve any history and data discovered on the site which was originally built in 1862.
